OVERVIEW
15-Month Streamlined Route
The Aquarius Institute’s Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program is a 15-month long program designed to give students the most direct and streamlined route to becoming an LPN. This program prepares individuals to provide fundamental nursing skills for sick, injured, convalescent, disabled, and terminally ill patients under the direction of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses.
The Aquarius Institute’s MRI program is developed to prepare students to operate MRI systems safely and competently to produce diagnostically acceptable images. Having completed this program the student will have sufficient knowledge and skills to work in industry as a Technologist professional in a variety of settings in the medical field.

Accelerated Gateway to RN
Instead of spending 4-5 years in a traditional Bachelor of Nursing program, a state-certified LPN can qualify for bridged RN tracks that take only 12-18 months. In as few as 2-4 total years, you can step up to your RN while earning an active income.
IDFPR Board Of Nursing Approved Program
The Aquarius Institute’s LPN program is fully approved by the Illinois Board of Nursing, authorizing our graduates to sit for the national “NCLEX-PN” examination. As a State Board certified program, we enforce rigorous educational standards of the patient care curriculum to ensure deep baseline preparation.

One-on-One Dedicated NCLEX-PN Review
After successfully exiting the theory, lab, and clinical portions of training, students enter a rigorous one-on-one preparation regimen led by industry veteran instructors until the student exhibits complete confidence in passing the state licensure criteria.
We incorporate premium ATI exam preparation software to continually chart progression metrics, enabling real-time feedback loops and remediation after each session. Upon awarding the official Certificate of Completion, graduates are authorized to register for the IDFPR board exam pathways. Passing the exam licenses you as a Practical Nurse in Illinois, opening career search access across our large corporate employer network.

Admission Requirements
General System Metrics
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Proof of graduation from a U.S. accredited High School or equivalent. Official High School Transcript must show a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.
- Pass the HESI admissions entrance test administered by the Aquarius Institute with a minimum performance benchmark of 70% or higher.
- Submit an updated professional resume if applicable.
International Credentials Processing
Note:Potential students with foreign backgrounds may submit documents to Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. (ECE) or equivalent local agencies. File evaluation tracks from English transcript translations run an estimated out-of-pocket cost of $195.
