Advance Your Career in Comprehensive Diagnostic Medical Sonography with CCI (RCS Certification) & ARDMS
This is an 18-month Ultrasound Training Program that combines classroom instruction with hands-on labs which also includes 800 hours of mandatory ultrasound Clinical Internship
Students receive extensive hands-on training using advanced ultrasound imaging equipment while developing the technical skills needed for success in the field. The program includes comprehensive instruction in echocardiography and abdominal ultrasound, preparing graduates for careers in hospitals, diagnostic imaging centers, and other healthcare facilities.
This program provides students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on clinical training needed to prepare and qualify for the Registered Cardiac Sonographer Examination (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Upon successful completion of the RCS exam students may pursue the Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer credential through ARDMS, subject to current ARDMS eligibility requirements.

RCS (CCI) Eligibility
Our curriculum is designed to provide the educational foundation needed to support eligibility for the Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) examination through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), subject to current CCI requirements.
40-Hour RCS Exam Preparation
Students participate in 40 hours of comprehensive RCS exam preparation, including instructor-led review and mock exams designed to prepare students for the exam.
ARDMS Pathway
After earning the RCS credential, graduates will be eligible to pursue the Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential through ARDMS, subject to current ARDMS eligibility requirements.
Program Breakdown
The lecture portion of the program provides students with the foundational knowledge needed to understand medical principles, ultrasound imaging techniques, and the clinical procedures encountered in everyday practice. This portion of the curriculum consists of 356 clock hours and is divided into six comprehensive courses designed to prepare students for both clinical training and professional practice.
Clinical Internship
Students complete supervised clinical training at affiliated diagnostic imaging centers, and healthcare facilities, where they apply their classroom knowledge in real-world patient care settings while gaining valuable hands-on experience.
